Day 2) The Settling In.

Today got off to a pretty slow start, to say the least. For anyone who has ever experienced jet lag, you know what I’m talking about. I forced myself out of bed at about 11:00, Boston time, and started to go through the motions of getting ready for the day.

As per usual, click the photos to make them larger.

What I looked like in the morning.

The view from my window. The weather today is so sunny and nice!

My choice of shoes for the day! Summery wedges!! (they are surprisingly comfy)

But not everything here is perfect at the moment. I actually left the majority of my makeup in a little bag on the plane. UGH! How awful, I know. Today is a makeup free day for yours truly, sadly, so I am not truly in the spirit without my matchy makeup. :)

So thus it begins: the journey back to the airport!

The parking garage was extremely hard to navigate. I was looking for Terminal C for about 10 minutes.

Aha! Terminal C!

Inside of the door into the terminal, it looks very strange. The windows are green tinted and there are blaring bird-calls coming out of little speakers like the ones below. So annoying! :P

Finally, I got into the elevator but I could not escape the bird-calls! They even had a speaker set up in the elevator!

I went to the lost and found and luckily, my cosmetics bag had been recovered! Yay!!

This is my relatives’ little, curly dog, Decota, and when we got home from the airport, we took him for a walk around the neighborhood! It was not hot today, actually warmer in the house at times! I kept my sweater on comfortably all day long.

Here are some other random snaps that I took while out on the town.

The pattern of my dress today.

View from the car while crossing the bridge. You can see the Charles River a bit!

Around the square.

A beautiful, green park!!

So that’s all for day two!! I hope you enjoyed this post! Comment below and tell me what you all are planning to do today! Xoxo
